We are extremely pleased we selected CG to work with us on our build project. We were told from the outset the project would take 6 months and, despite a few unforeseen issues and hold-ups; likely with any build of this scale, everything was completed on time. We were impressed with the high standard of craftsmanship and attention to detail, particularly with regards to the brickwork, masonry and carpentry. Most importantly we knew we were in capable hands; as Joe, the Contracts Manager, was on site any time there was a problem and we were kept up to speed in a timely manner, with any alterations or issues required through either phone calls or site visits by Joe and the Team. All in all the whole Team we met was professional, knowledgeable and helpful. If we did another project we would certainly use CG again and happily recommend them to others.

Working with CG Building and Restoration throughout the redevelopment of our farm complex near Malton was without question an absolute pleasure. Developments such as ours could potentially be a massive headache trying to coordinate all parties involved (especially when we were living nearly 200 miles away), but working with Vernon and his team (with a particular mention for Sean) it was an extremely enjoyable experience seeing our family home becoming a reality. Vernon’s Team’s attention to detail was excellent and when working with a listed property such as ours making sure the various elements of the build tied in together was a skill in itself. CG’s kitchen extension to our house is fantastic. Following the Architect’s design to the letter, CG undertook the planned extension within the estimated, somewhat narrow, time frame, whilst paying great attention to detail. The brickwork and joinery is very well done and of a very high quality. The glass/doors/windows are fitted very neatly, the flooring is beautifully tiled and the kitchen, dining and sitting areas all look wonderful. The result is a most elegant and cohesive whole. CG consulted our Architect and/or us about every minute detail and we knew that we were in good hands. The Managing Director, Vernon, Contracts Manager, Joe, and their Foremen were very knowledgeable, professional and personable. CG and their staff were all extremely pleasant and courteous and it really was a pleasure to work with them. We would recommend CG Building and Restoration Ltd most highly.
