Holiday Cottage Renovation Programme

CG Building & Restoration Ltd delivered a full programme of internal refurbishment works across eight holiday cottages in North Yorkshire, transforming each property to provide a higher‑quality guest experience while retaining the charm and character that make the site so popular.

The project focused on modernising key interior spaces, refreshing tired finishes and improving the overall comfort and functionality of the cottages. Works included upgraded kitchens and bathrooms, new décor and flooring, and comprehensive electrical and plumbing improvements. To support sustainable travel, new EV chargers were installed across the site.

One cottage was sensitively adapted to create accessible holiday accommodation, ensuring the development can welcome guests with a wide range of needs. Additional guest‑focused amenities were also introduced, including a dedicated dog wash station and a secure cycle store — both designed to enhance convenience for families, walkers and cyclists.

With all refurbishment works now complete, the cottages are ready to welcome their new guests this summer, offering beautifully refreshed interiors and improved facilities throughout.
