This project for a private client in Helmsley, North Yorkshire comprised of extensions and partial refurbishment of a traditional stone-built end terrace cottage.

The two-storey extension provides a modern spacious master bedroom with ensuite, built in stone to match existing stonework with clay pantile roof coverings and roof lights.

Two further single storey extensions, one to the rear and one to the side added a new kitchen with utility room and hallway. The construction of the single storey extensions included oak roof timbers with zinc roof cladding, aluminium windows, oak doors, and oak external cladding.

CG carried out a full internal refitting of plumbing, heating, electrics, and internal reorganisation for kitchen and bathrooms, including all decorations.

The final component to complete the project was the exterior gardens which were re-landscaped with new stone pacing to front and rear and the addition of new timber fencing.
