A stunning milestone at our Boston Spa project this week. The fully glazed extension, expertly supplied and installed by Clear Living, is now in place — bringing floods of natural light into the new kitchen and creating clean, modern lines that connect the home seamlessly to the garden.
The new structure sits beautifully against the traditional stone façade, combining heritage architecture with contemporary glazing design. Each glass panel was manoeuvred into position with millimetre precision using specialist lifting equipment, allowing the team to achieve flawless alignment and crisp detailing across the elevation.
Working in close coordination with Clear Living’s installation crew, our site team managed the sequencing and structural preparation required for the glazing system — including supporting steelwork, thermal detailing, and integration with the existing building fabric. The result is a seamless junction between old and new, where craftsmanship and engineering meet.
This project highlights the technical skill and collaboration behind modern structural glazing — from the careful handling of oversized glass panels to the accuracy required in sealing and fixing. Watching the installation unfold was a masterclass in precision and teamwork.
With the extension now complete, the space is flooded with natural light and ready for finishing touches. We’re excited to see this contemporary addition come fully to life — a perfect blend of modern design and traditional Yorkshire stonework.
