Structural Repairs and Conservation Works to Grade II Listed St Peter’s Church, Rylstone, North Yorkshire

XCG PRJ Royston Church

CG Building & Restoration Ltd was appointed to carry out internal and external repairs to the Grade II listed St Peter’s Church in the village of Rylstone, North Yorkshire. As an active Anglican parish church within the deanery of Skipton, the building required sensitive conservation work to protect its historic fabric and ensure long‑term structural stability.

Works included the consolidation of the tower parapet and adjoining wall, with repointing carried out in appropriate lime mortar to maintain breathability and preserve the original masonry. Re‑roofing works were completed alongside repairs to the existing roof timbers, strengthening the structure while retaining its historic character.

These essential conservation works demonstrate our expertise in Grade II listed church restoration, lime mortar repointing, structural masonry consolidation and traditional roofing repairs across Rylstone and the wider North Yorkshire region.
