As part of ‘National Inclusion Week’ we wanted to speak with some of our employees and share their experience working with CG Building and Restoration Ltd. Here’s what they had to say…

Sherry (Estimator at CG Building and Restoration Ltd):
“CG have a great culture, I always feel included and part of the team. No feeling like a mushroom here and been left in the dark! Flexibility, teamwork and trust allow us all to feel motivated to give 100% and want to do the best we can.
My job also lets me feel included in my son’s life too (I’m able to attend sports days, watch the Christmas nativity, go to his football training, do the school run… all the important things to us)….. just generally be there when he needs me and I need him, even if this means I need to do a hour here or there on an evening or weekend (which I don’t actually mind doing either as I enjoy my job)”

Joe (Construction Management at CG Building and Restoration Ltd):
“Since joining CG Building and Restoration in August 2020, I have had the opportunity to embark on a journey of professional growth and development. I’m proud to mention that I have successfully completed my Level 6 NVQ in Contracts Management, a significant milestone that has greatly enriched my understanding of our industry and my role within it. Additionally, I have been enrolled in the Level 4 Higher National Certificate in Construction & Built Environment. This new endeavour promises to further enhance my skills and expertise in the field and aligns perfectly with my long-term career goals. One of the aspects of CG Building and Restoration that has truly stood out to me is the company’s unwavering commitment to training and self-development. This commitment extends across all levels of the organization, from our dedicated apprentices to our management team. It is truly refreshing to be part of a company that places such a strong emphasis on the continuous improvement of its workforce.”
